VPRS 11930 Board Minutes

Formation of District Road Boards was authorised under section 10 of An Act for Making and Improving Roads in the Colony of Victoria 1853 (16 Vic., No.40). The Act did not stipulate that minutes of meeting of District Road Boards should be made, but many District Road Boards maintained records of their meetings in the form of minutes.The minutes record the proceedings together with the names of all board members present.1853年《维多利亚殖民地道路修建与改善法案》（16 Vic., No.40）第10条授权设立地区道路委员会。该法案并未规定需留存地区道路委员会的会议纪要，但多数地区道路委员会均以会议纪要的形式留存了各自的会议记录。上述会议纪要会记录委员会的议事全过程，以及所有出席委员的姓名。
