<b>Differential survival and background selection in cryptic trunk-dwelling arthropods in fire-prone environments</b>

<b>data_1_colour_contrasts </b>=&gt; The data sheet contains informations for each species ID, the values of chromatic (color) and achromatic (luminance) contrasts for Blue tit (<i>Cyanistes caeruleus</i>) and Satin bower bird (<i>Ptilonorhynchus violaceus</i>) for artrhopod body regions (cephalothorax, thorax and abdomen) in each trunk condition (burned and unburned).<br><b>data_2_habitat_selection</b> =&gt; The data sheet contains informations for each species ID about the time spent on each type of substrate (burned and unburned) in the experimental arenas.<br><b>data_3_human_predation_experiment </b>=&gt; Predation experiments. The data sheet contains the Search time and Encounter distance for Black and Brown models tested in predation experiments, for each Human participant – “predator” and for each type of trunks (burned and unburned).<br>We also provide the scripts corresponding to each of the analyses carried out in the study.
