This collection consists of an image from an archaeological evaluation by Cotswold Archaeology, within the grounds of Lane Farm, Lane Road, Wakes Colne, Essex, in August 2019. This was done in advance of a proposed development. A single trench, 5m in length, was excavated. A single feature was identified, interpreted as a small pit or possible post-hole, from which no dating evidence was recovered. No other features or pre-modern artefacts were identified.
