This dataset was generated from a field study conducted in subtropical evergreen broadleaf forests of Motuo County, Tibet, China, involving 13 co-occurring tree species. It includes measurements of root exudation rates, metabolite profiles, root functional traits, and rhizosphere microbial diversity, collected to investigate how the quantity and quality of root exudates mediate root–microbe functional synergy along the conservative–acquisitive root economics spectrum.################################################################### Version history#############**Version 3** (the latest version)- Revised the code in file `Figure_1.R` (line 192) following the Data Editor’s recommendation, to ensure that the annotation expression format is correctly parsed and rendered during figure generation.
