Fly Microbiome Diet Database

This is the working version of the Fly Microbiome Diet Database, a compilation of published Drosophila diets used by laboratories in the field of fly microbiome research. In addition to listing dietary components as they are described in published research methods, we calculate macronutrient content and protein to carbohydrate ratio of each diet for the purpose of making comparisons between dietary nutrient content across studies. The source files for each diet component's nutrition facts are accessible at https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.11920743.v2.The database is subject to change as new studies are added or nutritional information is updated to be more accurate.
