资源简介:
This study is the third out of a number of cohort studies. The purpose of this study is to examine how the life and living conditions change over time for the part of the population who are older than 50 years of age. This survey includes respondents who work, are temporarily unemployed or have retired. The survey includes respondents born in 1955, 1950, 1945, 1940 etc. The first survey was conducted in 1997 (DDA-03336) and the second in 2003 (DDA-15196). A new survey is intended to be conducted every five years. The study is a panel study and respondents who have previously participated in the survey are asked to be interviewed again. In every study a new cohort of 52-year olds are interviewed. Furthermore new respondents are interviewed for the existing cohorts as replacements for non responders e.g. people who do not wish to participate in the survey or who have died. One of the main purposes of this study is to examine the connection between living conditions as middle-aged and living conditions as an elderly. The survey provides information which it is not possible to obtain from any other sources. This includes information on social relations, physical and psychological well being, use of care, housing preferences, type of retirement and the expectations and wants associated with retirement.
