Genome sequencing and assembly of the Santa Marta harlequin toad, Atelopus laetissimus

This project aims to generate a high-quality reference genome for this endangered amphibian species, the Santa Marta harlequin toad. By sequencing and assembling its genome, this study seeks to provide essential genomic resources that will enable a deeper understanding of the genus' evolutionary history, population genetics, and adaptive potential.
