资源简介:
Studies using mouse xenograft and APCMin/+ models found that muscle acts as an anti-tumor organ by inhibiting tumor growth through muscle EVs. However, sarcopenic muscles exhibit reduced EV secretion and altered EV cargoes, promoting cancer progression. Our miRNA sequencing identified miR-7a-5p, a tumor-suppressor microRNA highly enriched in healthy muscle EVs but diminished in aging muscle EVs. miR-7a-5p targets TEAD1, suppressing its activity in tumors and inhibiting tumor growth. Overall design: miRNA sequencing to identify differences in miRNA cargoes of EVs secreted by healthy muscle compared to damaged muscle (using hydrogen peroxide)
