The carapace width at age and instar data of snow crab (Chionoecetes opilio) used for the article: A novel growth function incorporating the effects of reproductive investment.The data is obtained from Yamamoto et al. (2015 J. Crustacean Biol.) for the 1st to 6th instars and Ueda et al.(2015 Assessment of fisheries stocks in the waters around Japan in 2015 FY, Part 1) for the 7th to 13th instars. M and F represent male and female, respectively.The number represents the number of terminal molting, after which body growth ceases.
