Dependent Help-Seeking from Generative AI and Its Social Costs

A field experiment with 212 content creators (Study 1) and a three-wave field study with 346 knowledge workers (Study 2)—we examine how dependent help-seeking from GAI affects workplace social dynamics through two distinct pathways: reduced help-seeking from coworkers and diminished empathy toward coworkers本研究包含两项田野研究：研究1为针对212名内容创作者的现场实验，研究2为针对346名知识工作者的三波纵向田野调查。本研究通过两条截然不同的作用路径，探讨依赖生成式人工智能（Generative AI，GAI）的求助行为对职场社交动态的影响：其一为个体向同事的求助行为显著减少，其二为个体对同事的同理心出现弱化。
