资源简介:
This dataset contains eye-tracking and performance data collected from participants completing 12 different geographic map-reading tasks. The dataset is organized as an Excel file with separate tabs for each task (M01-M12) and an additional summary tab ("Accuracy of answers") that compiles correctness data across all tasks.
Each task-specific tab includes the following columns:
Participant: Unique identifier for each participant. Participant P17 is a teacher of the students.
Correctness: Indicates whether the answer provided by the participant was correct (1), incorrect (2), no answer (0).
Answer: The specific response given by the participant.
Strategy: Qualitative description of the cognitive or visual strategy employed during the task.
Perception of legend: At least one fixation focused on legend AOI, Yes (1), No (0)
Work with legend: Indicating that they were actively working with the legend AOI, Yes (1), No (null)
Visually preferred area: Region of the map where the participant primarily focused their attention.
DwellTime (%) in pre-defined AOIs: Percentage of total dwell time spent in Areas of Interest (AOIs) defined for each task.
Trial Time [ms]: Total duration of the trial in milliseconds.
Fixation Count: Number of fixations recorded during the task.
Scanpath Length [px]: Total length of the visual scanpath in pixels, indicating the extent of eye movements during the task.
The "Accuracy" tab summarizes each participant’s overall performance across the 12 tasks, providing a quick reference for their accuracy scores.
