The sodium-bicarbonate cotransporter Slc4a5 mediates feedback at the first synapse of vision

This project tested knockout of cell type specific genes of mouse horizontal cells to show that the electrogenic bicarbonate transporter Slc4a5 is necessary for horizontal cell-to-cone feedback. Long-read amplicon sequencing was done to characterize Slc4a5 transcripts in wild type and knock-out mouse retinas. Data is made available for non-commercial research use only.
