Trem2 Agonist Reprograms Foamy Macrophages to Promote Atherosclerotic Plaque Stability

To elucidate the impact of Trem2 agonist on aortic gene expression during atherosclerosis. Overall design: Ldlr-/- mice were fed high fat diet (HFD) for 8 weeks, then began once weekly treatment with Trem2 agonist (AL002a, Antibody 1) or isotype control (Antibody 2) by i.p. injection at 40 mg/Kg per week while being maintained on HFD for an additional 8 weeks. Whole aorta was dissociated by enzymatic digestion, then captured for single cell RNA-sequencing using 10X Chromium 3' kit.
