A fast vectorized program for the cyber 205 to calculate the partition function of the 3-D Ising model

Abstract I describe a computer program that numerically estimates the density of states of the three-dimensional Ising model. The program runs at a speed of 110 million spin updates per second on a 2 pipe CDC Cyber 205 and 233 million updates per second on an ETA-10.
