To investigate the effect and potential mechanism of liquiritin (LQ) on alpha-naphthylisothiocyanate (ANIT)- induced cholestatic liver injury. Methods: Mice received vehicle or LQ (40 or 80 mg/kg/d) orally for 6 days. On the 5th day, the mice were orally administrated ANIT (75 mg/kg). The rats were sacrificed on the 7th day. The blood and liver were collected. mRNA and protein expression was evaluated by qRT-PCR and western blot. We also performed systematical analyses on hepatic expression profiles of miRNAs
