总挥发性有机化合物（TVOC）：利用Tenax GC或Tenax TA采样，非极性色谱柱（极性指数小于10）进行分析，保留时间在正己烷和正十六烷之间的挥发性有机化合物。TVOC有刺激性气味，而且有些化合物具有基因毒性。TVOC能引起机体免疫水平失调，影响中枢神经系统功能，出现头晕、头痛、嗜睡、无力、胸闷等自觉症状；还可能影响消化系统，出现食欲不振、恶心等，严重时可损伤肝脏和造血系统，出现变态反应等将1m2表面积的样品放入温度、相对湿度、空气流速和空气置换率控制在规定条件的气候箱内。挥发性有机化合物（TVOC）从样品中释放出来，与箱内空气混合，采集箱内空气，测试空气中VOC浓度，计算各VOC总和得到样品的TVOC释放率。ρm=1000×（mF-mb）/V，ρm-分析样品的质量浓度，mF-采样管所采集的挥发性有机化合物的质量，mb-空白管中挥发性有机物的质量，V-采样体积标准规定产品总挥发性有机化合物（TVOC）的释放率不得超过0.50mg/（m2.h）（72h）。合格率计算为不合格数据与全部录入数据比较取整得到。

Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC): Volatile organic compounds sampled via Tenax GC or Tenax TA, analyzed using a non-polar chromatographic column (polarity index < 10), with retention times between n-hexane and n-hexadecane. TVOC has irritating odors, and some of its constituent compounds are genotoxic. TVOC can cause immune system imbalance, impair central nervous system function, leading to subjective symptoms including dizziness, headache, lethargy, weakness, and chest tightness; it may also affect the digestive system, causing symptoms such as loss of appetite and nausea. In severe cases, it can damage the liver and hematopoietic system and induce allergic reactions.

Place a sample with a surface area of 1 m² into a climate chamber where temperature, relative humidity, air flow rate, and air exchange rate are controlled under specified conditions. Volatile organic compounds (TVOC) are released from the sample and mixed with the air inside the chamber. Collect the air in the chamber, test the VOC concentration in the air, and sum the concentrations of individual VOCs to obtain the TVOC emission rate of the sample. The calculation formula is: $

ho_m$ is the mass concentration of the analyzed sample, $m_F$ is the mass of volatile organic compounds collected by the sampling tube, $m_b$ is the mass of volatile organic compounds in the blank sampling tube, and $V$ is the sampling volume.

According to relevant standards, the TVOC emission rate of products shall not exceed 0.50 mg/(m²·h) (72h). The qualification rate is calculated by comparing the number of unqualified data with the total number of entered data and rounding the result.
