Using geochemical indicators to distinguish high biogeochemical activity in floodplain soils and sediments, Science of the Total Environment: Dataset

This dataset involves analysis of sediment samples collected in the East River watershed and Rifle floodplain sites, CO. Samples were collected and analyzed as part of two student MS theses at Colorado School of Mines (Kenwell and Prugue) over a time period ranging from 2012 to 2015. Analyses include total organic carbon, leachable Fe and Mn, and total microbial DNA; all analyses performed at Colorado School of Mines.本数据集涉及对美国科罗拉多州东河流域（East River watershed）与赖夫尔洪泛平原（Rifle floodplain）点位采集的沉积物样品的分析工作。相关样品的采集与分析，系2012至2015年间科罗拉多矿业学院（Colorado School of Mines）两篇理学硕士研究生学位论文（作者为Kenwell与Prugue）的研究内容。本次分析项目涵盖总有机碳（Total Organic Carbon）、可浸提铁与锰，以及总微生物DNA；所有分析工作均在科罗拉多矿业学院完成。
