MARS DSLF estimates over the MSG domain between 2004 and 2022

Estimates of downward longwave radiation at surface using the multivariate adaptive regression splines algorithm developed by the IPMA, Portugal. Datasets comprise hourly and monthly values (generated from instantaneous 30-minutes values) for performance evaluation at the nearest points to BSRN and FLUXNET2015 networks. Processed monthly data for the whole Meteosat second generation satellite domain is also made available. The provided datasets were used in the creation of the JGR manuscript Lopes et al. 2023 (under review).
