资源简介:
Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) is a severe complication of SARS-CoV-2 infections in the pediatric population characterized by fever, multi-organ involvement and systemic inflammation. Single-cell RNA sequencing was used to evaluate the transcriptomic signature of CD4+ T cells obtained from the peripheral blood of patients with MIS-C before (n=3) and after (n=5) immunomodulatory treatment, along with pediatric controls (n=4). Compared to controls and treated children with MIS-C, T cells obtained from pre-treatment MIS-C patients upregulated genes associated with activation, such as NF-kB signaling. This single-cell transcriptomic data was used in the context of a larger study entitled, "Notch1-CD22-Dependent Immune Dysregulation in the SARSCoV2-Associated... (for more see dbGaP study page.)
