Field Reconnaissance Database

Database describing much of the abiotic and biotic characteristics of the Arroyo Seco River from its confluence with the Salinas River up into Los Padres National Forest. This was done in a series of continuous and connecting reaches in the summer and fall of 2001. Data included are: low flow channel width and depth, average water depth, water temperature, estimated riparian canopy cover, estimated substrate composition, channel slope, adjacent land use type, presence of riprap, large woody debris, pools, presence of fishes, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals, and more.
