Carpooling areas of the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle (54)

As part of its departmental transport and travel plan, the departmental council has embarked on the development of a car-pooling area plan aimed at developing a car-pooling car-parking network in the departmental territory. This scheme is based on the principle of labelling in order to ensure departmental consistency in terms of equipment, security of car parks and legibility for users (common signage). Obtaining this departmental LABEL requires two conditions: - The inclusion of the site in a territorial scheme of car-pooling areas - Compliance with the Charter for the Development and Management of Carpooling Areas The 6 territories carried out GPS surveys of the car-pooling areas. These localized areas are materialized by a punctual. The objective is to provide information to road users on car-pooling areas.
