Pangolin Distribution and Predicted Habitat Loss from the Nagmati Dam in Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, Nepal

This dataset, in CSV format, includes data on the distribution of Critically Endangered Chinese pangolin (Manis pentadactyla) collected from Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. The study area was divided into 105 grids, and 101 grids were surveyed along 600 m × 10 m belt transect within each grid searching for Chinese pangolin burrows. Environmental variables such as elevation, aspect, soil colour, soil type, slope, distance to water body, distance to road, distance to nearest settlement, NDVI, and vegetation type within each grid were noted. The dataset contains 12 columns and 102 rows.
