This study updates the known bird communities of the southern region of the Río Dulce and Mar de Ansenuza wetlands, analyzes the assembly and composition of bird communities in different environments, and presents evidence of new bird species in the region.This work was supported by the National Institute Of Allergy And Infectious Diseases of the National Institutes of Health (grant number R01AI183506).
