TWO-SIDED ADHESIVE APPLICATION ROLLER FOR VENEER SPLICING MACHINE

The invention relates to a two-sided adhesive application roller (3) for a veneer splicing machine (1) consisting of an adhesive box (3.2) and a guide bar (3.1). The adhesive box (3.2) is comprised of a polygonal box shaped structure with a right and left adhesive compartments (3.2P) and (3.2T) provided on front and rear of the guide bar; on each adhesive compartment provided with right and left adhesive application shafts inclined toward two sides of the guide bar， on each end of the adhesive application shafts provided with inversely conical right and left adhesive application rollers (3.2.1P and 3.2.1T) protruding inclinedly from the adhesive compartment surface， rightly below the adhesive application roller being a spiral line over the conical surface for pushing adhesive overflown over the conical surface of the adhesive application roller when the adhesive application shafts rotate; in each adhesive compartment also provided with a bearing (3.2.3) at the bottom， a wall (3.2.6) closely placed to the conical surface of the adhesive application rollers and an outer surface of the spiral line， a lever pad (3.2.7) fixed to the wall of the adhesive box; a lower end of the right and left adhesive application shafts (3.2.2P) and (3.2.2T) provided with equal transmission gears (3.2.4)， only the left adhesive application shaft (3.2.2T) being further provided with a gear (3.2.5); the two outsides of the wall (3.2.6) of each adhesive compartment provided with right and left propellers (3.2.8P) and (3.2.8T) having a horizontal shaft. The guide bar (3.1) has two guide slots， two end sides of the guide slot being enlarged to feed material and each side of the guide slot provided with an arc bent section to bend the veneer plate to avoid that the protrusion of the adhesive application roller contacts to apply adhesive to sides of the veneer plate on the other side of the guide slot. A pair of horizontal shaft propellers (2.3) and (2.4) at the bottom and a plurality of horizontal shaft rolling wheels (4.3) and (4.4) on the above for each side opposite to the side having the adhesive application roller and aligned with the guide bar.
