jam-actions-v0 (public subset) — AI Jam Sessions tool-use traces

jam-actions-v0 is a corpus of multi-turn MCP (Model Context Protocol) tool-use traces grounded in real classical-piano MIDI. Each record pairs a short phrase window (typically 4 measures) with an annotated teaching target and a target trace — a turn-by-turn session in which an assistant uses the ai-jam-sessions MCP tools to read, analyze, and discuss the phrase. The dataset teaches LLMs to do grounded tool-use over symbolic music, not just text generation. This is the public subset: 115 records across 8 compositions (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Debussy). The held-out test set is clair-de-lune (12 records); the train split is 103 records. All records have verified provenance against piano-midi.de. The package includes 270 files: per-record JSON, the consolidated records.jsonl, SVG piano-rolls, eval artifacts (n=3 multi-run baselines, per-stratum aggregates, release-gate assessments), curated docs (README dataset card, layered LICENSE, ATTRIBUTION with copy-pasteable strings, KNOWN_LIMITATIONS for honest scope, DATASET_SCHEMA, RELEASE_NOTES, CITATION.cff), a SHA-256 checksums file, and packaging metadata. A fresh contributor can clone the source repo, verify all 270 checksums in ~2 seconds, and reproduce the canonical Slice 22 RC-gate PASS verdict end-to-end without operator handholding. Licensing: three-layer stack. Compositions are public domain (US + EU). MIDI arrangements by Bernd Krueger / piano-midi.de under CC-BY-SA 3.0 (Germany jurisdiction). Derivative records under CC-BY-SA-3.0 (DE) via share-alike. Zenodo's enumerated license slug is CC-BY-SA-3.0 (international form) — the substantive obligations are identical; the DE jurisdiction is documented in ATTRIBUTION.md and LICENSE-DATASET.md. Reproducibility: clone, pnpm install, run verify-public-package-checksums.ts, run check-release-gate.ts against evals/slice21-fair-e3-baseline-results.json. Expected: 270/270 checksums verify; release-gate exits 0 with PASS on all 6 blocking axes.
