Effect of simultaneous ART and 3HP Preventive Therapy on immune responses to MTB in the setting of SIV co-infection

We propose to identify the components of TB immunity in the lung compartment that remainimpaired after ART, versus those that are restored by concurrent ART and 3HP, in the rhesus macaquenonhuman primate (NHP) aerosol model of LTBI and Simian Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV) co-infection.
