ORTHO® DB \--- The ORTHO® DB is the digital reference tool for communities and departments, to highlight the territory and enrich the visualization of business data and projects. The ORTHO® comic book is currently being updated at a rate of 3 or 4 years. Around 30 new departments are produced each year and available ‘on the run’. Online resources are continuously updated. The ORTHO® comic is now produced by default at a resolution of 20 cm, in color and infrared color. Consult the pages of the [ORTHO® DB] (https://geoservices.ign.fr/bdortho) of the IGN. BD ORTHO® Historical \--- The BD ORTHO® Historical product is a collection of digital mosaics of ancient panchromatic orthophotos (grey levels) rectified in the projection adapted to the territory covered. The resolution (field size of the pixel) is 50 centimetres, which allows a working scale of the order of 1/5000th. This data makes it possible to track changes in landscapes over time. It can be industrial developments, transport, urbanization but also agricultural abandonment, hydraulic works, change of cultural practices that are easily visible by comparing current and old views. The Region financed 35% of the base, the 6 departments financed the rest, according to defined distribution keys.
