NRS-10511 | Registers of gold lease applications [Tibooburra Warden's Office]

The information given in each register includes; local number of application; date of application; names of applicants; description of lease; area; amount paid; date of notice to survey; name of surveyor; and when sent to the Warden or Department. Although the majority of the entries in volumes 3/1816-18 are for gold lease applications applied for at Milparinka, Tibooburra applications are included with a separate numbering sequence. In addition, volume 3/1817 contains a record of firearms handed in at the Police Station, Tibooburra, for June to September 1940 which gives: description (make and number), number of rounds, name and address of person handing in firearms, signature and date.
