Replication data for: Assessing Mitigation Strategies for Maritime Chokepoint Blockages: Environmental and Economic Implications
收藏资源简介:
The repository contains three main folders: 1) Data analysis description: The description of data analysis for the paper. a) Chapter "File Description" includes the short description of the file; b) Chapter "Data Analysis shows the data analysis steps. 2) Input data: open-access data and simulated inputs used in the A-star algorithm and simulation models for the paper: "Assessing Mitigation Strategies for Maritime Chokepoint Blockages: Environmental and Economic Implications". a) The "daily_data_of_all_vessels_sc" folder includes a read_me.txt file with a brief description and a dataset of Monte Carlo simulated vessel arrivals to the Suez Canal; b) The "distances" folder includes a read_me.txt file with a brief description, along with datasets of distances and routes for sailing between the relevant European and Asian countries; c) The "excel_scenarios" folder contains a read_me.txt file with a brief description, and datasets of various scenarios for vessel schedules between the relevant European and Asian countries; d) The "paths_for_rerouting" folder features a read_me.txt file with a brief description, and datasets outlining rerouting pathways via the Cape of Good Hope, used in the event of a Suez Canal blockage. 3) Simulation outputs: The output files ("sailing_by_parts.csv" and "sailing_by_parts.parquet") for each scenario ("Waiting", "Rerouting with Remaining Speed ", "Speed Adjustment"), with 10 iterations of results. An example of the final path to the output file: fr"Root/Simulation outputs/{strategy name}/{strategy name}_{blockage duration})_days/{iteration number}/{final file with required format}, where: strategy name: ["Waiting", "Rerouting with Remaining Speed ", "Speed Adjustment"] blockage duration: [5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 35, 60] iteration number: [0, 1, 2, ..., 9] final file with required format: ["sailing_by_parts.csv", "sailing_by_parts.parquet"]
