Vitis rupestris Genome sequencing and assembly

Vitis rupestris is a grape species native to the United States. It is known by many common names including July, rock, and mountain grape. It is used for breeding several hybrids and many root stocks. This project aims to develop a genome assembly for this wild grape. It will help the study of grapevine breeding.
