Genome sequence of Trichomonascus vanleenenianus CLIB 3782

The genome of the Saccharomycotina yeast Trichomonascus vanleenenianus CLIB 3782 (synonym L1-24) was sequenced using the NovaSeq 6000 platform (paired-end, 2x150). The assembly, obtained with SPAdes tool, contains 116 nuclear scaffolds with a N50 of 254,743 bp (L50 = 19) and a cumulative length of 14.944 Mb. Genome annotation led to the prediction of 6,307 CDSs and 75 pseudogenes, mainly corresponding to remnants of transposable elements. A BUSCO score of 96,2% was obtained for the protein set.
