Pilot-scale study composed f 12 CDC Biofilm reactors with 6 different materials (4 plastics and 2 metals) and filled with dechlorinated tap water. The aim is to evaluate the impact of materials, temperature and mixing regime on the occurrence and survival of Legionella pneumophila, nontuberculous mycobacteria and Vermamoeba vermiformis, and on eukaryotic and prokaryotic populations.
