Images and GIS Data from a Watching Brief at Oak Dene, Southwick Road, Wickham, Hampshire, July to August 2023

This collection contains images and GIS data from an archaeological watching brief by Cotswold Archaeology. The work occurred at land south-west of Oak Dene, Southwick Road, Wickham, Hampshire from July to August 2023.The watching brief recorded four pits and a ditch terminus, all of which contained sherds of Roman pottery and ceramic building material. These features are likely to be associated with a known Roman settlement excavated previously to the west of the application site.
