A snapshot, Japanese cultural gathering with children, Los Angeles, California, USA, circa 1920. A large group of people, of Asian possibly Japanese descent, poses outside of a large brick building. The children stand in front with adults towards the back. Most people are dressed in a traditional attire, children wear make up and hats. Some men to the right are wearing sashes over their suits. Above them hang paper lanterns and a cloth banner with Japanese language characters on it. There is a pencil inscription on the reverse. The photograph is in good condition.
