Mangrove Microbiomes: A Polyextremophilic Enzyme Reservoir Linking Biofuel Innovation to Ecosystem Conservation

This study fills significant knowledge gaps by conducting a thorough screening of bacterial isolates for lignocellulolytic activity under a severe extreme contions. Our approach includes systematic sampling from both living and dead mangrove sites, screening for four key enzymes under extreme conditions, integrating metagenomic and culture-based approaches, and correlating enzyme activities to environmental parameters.
