资源简介:
This dataset is comprised of instrumented buoy data collected on Emaiksoun Lake in Barrow, Alaska for the purposes of quantifying the over-lake meteorology and surface energy balance. Hourly mean weather, wave height, water temperature, and energy balance data were collected from a TIDAS-900 data buoy deployed near the center of the lake over a 4-year period (2012-2015). Primary responsible individuals include John Lenters and Brittany Potter, assisted at times by other CALON collaborators. The 2012 dataset provides information for the summer of 2012 (i.e., the majority of the ice-free season). All variables represent hourly means, with units provided below each variable name. The data buoy was equipped with duplicate Vaisala WXT520 weather sensors (labeled E and W) and duplicate Kipp & Zonen CNR4 net radiometers (labeled N and S), each facing in opposite cardinal directions. The labeling is only meant to indicate relative orientation on the buoy mast, as the buoy itself was able to rotate with the wind direction. Additional sensors included an RBR temperature string (nodes at 8 depths; 25-cm intervals down to 2.25 m), a LI-COR PAR sensor, and a 3-axis accelerometer (to measure wave height). The data have not undergone extensive QA/QC, and missing data are labeled as "NAN."
