Rat Schwann cell gene expression analysis after Sox2 overexpression

In this dataset, we include the expression data obtained from rat Schwann cells overepressing GFP (control) or Sox2/GFP to identfiy Sox2 tragets in Schwann cells. An in vitro microarray analysis of GFP (control) and Sox2/GFP overexpressing Schwann cells Schwann cells were infected with GFP (control) or Sox2/GFP adenovirus for 24 hours in defined medium (DM) and then changed to DM without virus. After 48 hours of adenovirus infection, total RNA was purified with miRNeasy mini kit (Qiagen, 217004) and on-column DNase digestion was also performed. mRNA samples purified from GFP or Sox2/GFP adenovirus infected Schwann cells were analysed on an Affymetrix 1.0 ST Rat Exon array by the Patterson Institute for Cancer Research (Manchester, UK)
