Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain:4_MIC Genome sequencing

This project involves the genomic sequencing of Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA_MIB, a strain adapted to prolonged exposure to benzalkonium chloride (BAC) at 4 times the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). The strain was selected for its ability to survive under increasing BAC stress, providing insight into bacterial adaptation mechanisms to antimicrobial agents. This genomic data will enhance our understanding of the genetic basis of antimicrobial resistance and tolerance in P. aeruginosa, particularly in response to commonly used disinfectants like benzalkonium chloride.
