Academic Librarian Attendance at Non-Library Conferences

This data set contains survey data, coded qualitative analysis questions, a supplementary file containing commonly occurring conferences that have library-related sections, and a copy of the survey itself. The objective of this data is to assess the non-librarian conference (NLC) attendance by librarians. Some of the questions ask information about the institution of employment, the role in the library, the library funding structure for professional development, perceived value/detriment of NLC attendance, and questions regarding specific conferences attended that fit the criteria of NLC.
