The F-net Broadband Seismic Network is a seismic monitoring database operated by the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED) of Japan. It provides seismic waveform data and focal mechanism solutions for Japan and its adjacent regions. This network consists of broadband seismic observation data, through which users can access the latest seismic moment tensor catalogs and mechanism solutions. It is mandatory to cite the data source when utilizing the datasets. The database regularly releases maintenance information and data update announcements.
