Environmental vision 2018 — Water harvesting area Hunze

Version of Water Harvest Area Hunze adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 3 October 2018. The province of Drenthe retains as much water as possible in the Hunze river basin, with a view to compensating for groundwater extractions in the lower run. By 2019, it is clear whether an additional strategic groundwater supply should be designated in the Hunzedal in order to cope with a potential strong growth in the demand for drinking water.
