Forest areas by EPCI in Brittany. The spaces described are as follows: total area, forest area, deciduous area, coniferous area, mixed area, poplar area, temporarily deforested area, heath area. **Sources:** ADEME/ALDO based on IFN (BD Forest_V2). **Processing notes:** - The administrative contours of the municipalities are those in force on 17 December 2018 (data source: AdminExpress). - The dates of the aerial photos by department are as follows: 22 : 2011; 29 : 2005; 35 : 2010; 56 : 2004. - Elements of more than 5 000 m2 (i.e. 0.5 hectares), of a width > 20 meters and a vegetation cover rate >= 10%, whose land use is not exclusively agricultural (Source FAO, 2014). If canopy ratio (TC) of trees able to reach a height H > 5m is < 10% then non-forest, if 10 < TC < 40% then open forest, If TC > 40% then closed forest.
