Freeze-thaw cycle experiments

This dataset includes redox potential data from 4 different freeze-thaw cycle (FTC) experiments. In one experiment, a water-saturated soil material was used and the other 3 experiments were conducted with quartz material. The bucket with electrodes as well as the logger unit and the battery for energy supply were placed in a climate chamber during several freeze (down to -5°C) and thaw (up to 10°C) cycles to ensure similar environmental conditions to the Alaska field monitoring (soil monitoring dataset).
