Longitudinal analysis of gut microbiota dynamics in aging SAMP8 mice

This project investigates the longitudinal changes in gut microbiota composition in senescence-accelerated mouse prone 8 (SAMP8) mice during the aging process. Fecal samples were collected at multiple time points and analyzed by 16S rRNA gene sequencing to identify age-related microbial signatures and potential biomarkers of aging. This study provides insights into the dynamic nature of the gut microbiome during physiological aging and may inform microbiota-targeted interventions.
