The residual thickness of the lower & middle sandstone in the duck beak

The maximum thickness between the mapped horizon of the Lower and Upper Bunt sandstone is about 1 100 m and is reached in the southeast of the duck beak. The thickness distribution map shows that the formation of the Lower & Middle Bunt Sandstone generally shows increased widths along the North Shill Ground Disorder. Further locally high widths between 750-1 000 m are measured in circumferential sinks on some salt diapires.
