Collection of marine organisms for bioactivity screening, focused in the shallow waters off the coastlines of Queensland and Western Australia, beginning in 1987 and continuing to the present. Small collections have been made in all other Australian States, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Philippines and Antarctica waters. Collection procedures are designed to maximise taxonomic/chemical diversity ie this is not a biodiversity survey. Additional information available will generally include images, abundance and micro environmental variables.
Australia January 1987 – present, New Zealand Dec 1988 – April 1991, Philippines April 1991, Thailand May 1990 – March 1990, Papua New Guinea September 1990 – October 1991, Antarctica October 1989 – February 1997.
