Clinical and Cytokine Data on Leptospirosis and Jarisch-Herxheimer Reaction in New Caledonia (LEPJAR-NC Study)

This dataset results from a prospective case-series study on leptospirosis conducted in four hospitals across New Caledonia from 2021 to 2024. It captures clinical, demographic, and cytokine profile data from 81 patients diagnosed with leptospirosis, focusing on their inflammatory response and the occurrence of the Jarisch-Herxheimer Reaction (JHR) after β-lactam antibiotic therapy. A new JHR clinical scoring system was applied. Cytokines were measured pre- and post-treatment (H0, H3, H6).
The dataset includes an excel file containing the processed data, in the form of a matrix with 81 subjects as rows and collected variables as columns.
