Whole-transcriptome sequencing technology and bioinformatics analysis were applied to systematically analyze the differentially expressed genes in the left and right adrenal gland in C57BL/6 mouse. As a result, a total of 2581 differentially expressed mRNAs including 1264 up-regulated genes and 1317 down-regulated genes between left and right adrenals were identified under the threshold of fold change>1.2 and FDR<0.001. The differential expression analysis was performed using R statistical package edge R. Target gene prediction of differently expressed miRNAs were performed using miRanda database, and competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network was constructed.
