Hippocampus RNA-sequencing of long-term treatment with Q808

Antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) are the mainstay treatment in epilepsy and epilepsy treatment usually requires many years and can be lifelong. Thus, evaluating the long-term effect of AEDs is important. Q808 is an innovative antiepileptic chemical under research and development. It exerts effective antiepileptic effect against various epilepsy models. Exploring the gene transcriptomic profile of long-term treatment of Q808 is necessary. In the present study, hippocampus RNA-sequencing was performed to reveal the transcriptome profile of rats after treatment of gavage of Q808 for 28 day.
抗癫痫药物(Antiepileptic drugs, AEDs)是癫痫治疗的主流手段,而癫痫的治疗通常需要持续多年,甚至需终身进行。因此,评估抗癫痫药物的长期疗效至关重要。Q808是一款处于研发阶段的新型抗癫痫化合物,其对多种癫痫模型均展现出显著的抗癫痫活性。探索Q808长期给药后的基因转录组谱具有重要意义。本研究对大鼠开展为期28天的Q808灌胃给药后,对其海马体组织进行RNA测序(RNA-sequencing),以解析该处理下的转录组特征。
