Metagenomic data of anammox consortia fed with nitrous oxide as an additional electron acceptor

This project contains NGS data obtained by metagenomic sequencing. We aimed to investigate the effect of N2O exposure on the bacterial community structure of the Anammox consortium. For this purpose, we used a gas-permeable membrane device, which enabled bubble-less N2O supply to the biofilm adhering to a membrane. We operated two devices fed with ammonium and nitrite with or without N2O supply in parallel to compare the microbial community compositions and functions.
